Obtaining Your CBAP Certification

What is CBAP?

The CBAP  (Certified Business Analysis Professional) is the highest tier of the IIBA Core Certifications, designed for professionals who have practical experience in business analysis.

What are the qualifications to take the CCBA exam?

There are two key requirements:

◾ Experience: 7500  hours of Business Analysis work experience within the last 10 years, which equates to approximately 4.5  to 5  years of full-time work.

◾Professional Development: 35  hours of professional development completed within the last 4 years.

What counts towards the 35  hours of professional development?

◾Only live, instructor-led online or in-person education qualifies.

◾Self-paced learning or recorded courses do not meet this requirement.

How can you obtain the 35  hours of professional development?

◾AdvanceEdge Professional Services offers an online, instructor-led course that meets the 35 - hour requirement. In addition to these 35  hours, our course includes a welcome webinar and several 1-on-1 coaching sessions with each student.

◾As an IIBA Endorsed Education Provider (EEP), our courses have been thoroughly reviewed and approved by the IIBA, ensuring they are fully aligned with the BABOK Guide.

◾This endorsement guarantees that your course hours will automatically qualify towards the required professional development hours when applying for the CBAP  exam.
